Stakeholders

The stakeholders of the National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI) encompass a wide network of institutions and individuals engaged in vocational education and skill development across India. These include: Directorate General of Training (DGT) – the apex body under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) overseeing vocational training. Regional Directorates of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDEs) – which coordinate training and skill development efforts at the regional level. 33 National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs) – premier government institutes offering advanced skill training and trainer development programs. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) – the central ministry responsible for policy-making and strategic oversight of skill initiatives. Government and Private Institutes of Training of Trainers (IToTs) – which play a key role in preparing quality trainers for ITIs. Over 14,500 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) – government and private institutions that deliver vocational training based on NIMI-developed curricula and content. 23 lakh+ ITI candidates – students and trainees who benefit directly from NIMI’s high-quality instructional materials, e-learning resources, and skill development programs.
