EMPANELMENT OF EXPERTS

National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI) invites application from Qualified and Experienced Professionals from various Sectors/Trades (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Mechanic Production, IT, Food production, Tourism etc.) for empanelment of experts to develop Instructional Material for NCVT approved Trades and various Sectors covered under NSDC.

EMPANELMENT OF EXPERTS

National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI) is an Autonomous Institute under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, aiming to prepare Instructional Media Packages (IMPs) for ITIs, short-term courses under NSDC, and the Apprenticeship training program.

QUALIFICATION:

Experts (Working/Retired) from disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Civil, Automobile, IT, Computer, Food Production, Stenography, Tourism, etc., with relevant experience in Industry, Teaching, Training, or Curriculum Development.

DESIRABLE:

• Knowledge of Pedagogy

MDC Methodology

NIMI books are uniquely developed by a team of experts (MDC members). These members attend orientation, analyze the syllabus, and develop instructional material with theoretical lessons and exercises. Manuscripts are then processed with DTP, CAD drawings, and vetting to finalize books.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Support NIMI in developing course content (Trade Practical, Theory, and Question Bank).
2. Participate in orientation sessions for content development.
3. Form expert groups by course/sector.
4. Develop material in English with relevant illustrations.
5. Use more illustrations to reduce language barriers.
6. Attend meetings at Chennai/Delhi/Kolkata or other locations as needed.
7. Experts from government organizations are encouraged to apply.

PLACE OF WORKING

Meetings will be held at CHENNAI, DELHI, and KOLKATA.

REMUNERATION:

1. Daily remuneration between Rs. 750/day and Rs. 2000/day based on experience and designation.
2. Travel allowance (TA) as per NIMI norms.
3. Honorarium for meeting days only.
4. Boarding/lodging for outstation experts as per NIMI norms.
5. TDS will be deducted as per government rules.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) per NIMI copyright policy.
2. Copyright of all developed material rests solely with NIMI.
3. Submit a sample exercise and theory lesson for quality review. Avoid using internet illustrations.
4. Ensure no copyright infringement in any developed content. Violations will be the expert’s responsibility.
